Tracy Devoust of
Organizing Made Simple's mission is to assist
individuals in creating and maintaining a productive
environment that will improve their quality of life. She
enables companies to find anything filed in 5 seconds or
less. She also helps business increase productivity
through managing time, space and information. She does
this through assessing one's needs and implementing
systems to meet individual's desired outcomes. From her
skills as a therapist she addresses her client's
challenges with an understanding of their situation and
respecting their individuality.
She has two markets that
she targets. The first targeted market is small
businesses and home-based businesses looking to improve
their bottom line through productivity, time management,
and information management. Tracy offers individual and
group training. She also provides individual
consultation services. The second targeted market she
focuses on is the residential individual seeking order
within their home. She offers hands-on assistances with
creating systems for improve the daily functions in
managing a home.
Mrs. Davoust acquired a
Bachelors of Psychology in 1985 and a Master of Social
Work from Western Michigan University in 1991. She
became a certified Social Worker in 1993. She has worked
in the Mental Health field since 1985. In that time she
has worked as a Therapist, a Vocational Specialist and a
Program Supervisor. Through this experience she has
assisted individuals with finding solutions towards
improving their quality of life.
Tracy continues educating
herself through professional organizations, trainings,
literature, and networking with other professionals. She
is an active member in a variety of professional
organization in order to better serve her clients. She
has been a member of National Association of
Professional Organizers (NAPO) since 2003 and attends
their annual conferences. NAPO is an organization
dedicated to promoting and supporting the field of
professional organizing. This organization offers
training, networking, up-to-date trends and tools to its
members. In 2004 Tracy became a Productivity Trained
Authorized Consultant (PTAC). This organization provides
training and systems that facilitates individuals and
businesses towards a productive environment. In 2005 she
joined the National Study Group on Chronic
Disorganization (NSGCD). This organization provides
education; techniques and solutions that will benefit
chronically disorganized people.
Mrs. Davoust has served on
a number of non-profit organizations such as:
Professional Business Builders (BNI)=Secretary/Treasurer
since Feb 2007, Durango Area Home-Based Business
Association= President since 2004, Early Birds
Toastmaster since 2005, Durango BMX board=secretary in
2003 Woman's Resource Center member since 2002.
